First, I'd like to start by thanking everyone with how nice you were when we added advertisements to our websites. It really warmed our hearts to that many of you commenting with your support and not being overly irritated by the new addition. Unfortunately, the advertisements are not performing well enough to pay for the cost of running the websites, so we've been brainstorming other ways to raise money to keep things running.
We have been working on this for a while actually and I'm excited to finally announce SimplePlanes Subscriptions. We have altered the game to lock feature sets to specific subscription levels so you can keep enjoying the game to it's limited or fully unlocked capability. It really just depends on how much you want to pay per month.
We hope you are as excited as we are and that you will continue to show your support by pre-ordering here.

Bloody amazing. This legit convinced me for a second, until I read it was an april fools joke.
To be honest I totally would pay a monthly subscription for this amazing software.
And yes I say "software" and not "game", because of the incredible things you can do with it thanks to the physics simulation and things like funky trees that make it seem more like a professional software on the level of something like autocad. You are responsible for the fact that many of us SP users will in future become engineers, scientists and programmers ourselves. Essentially you literally make the world a better place.
