@ForeverPie it should change the max/min lock range. try setting the maxRange on an inferno to 1 or something (it's meters), and try and fire it. It shouldn't work.
To be honest, I can't believe you didn't get the hint. If I said that you weren't the only one, I must have known that for sure, otherwise I wouldn't have said it. Which would surely mean that I know of a script that's been made (other than yours) to generate smooth shapes out of fuselages. And since I'm a modder...
@SledDriver you know, I made a script to do that. Makes smooth, hollow fuselages out of smaller fuselages. I wouldn't have noted it otherwise. I said that because I knew that I had made a script. Your response, that nobody has, is completely illogical... how can you tell? have you asked everyone? (didn't ask me...).
Also, saying "who the heck do you think you are" after I made a claim which I knew to be true, then attempting to debunk it without any evidence... then criticising how "arrogant" I sounded... Again, I just mentioned that you should update your bio. You blew it up into an "arrogant" attack on your personality.
Understood? (<--- see how rude it is? talking to me like a father would talk to a misbehaving son?)
@SledDriver seriously, all it was was a simple comment ("Hmm", not even criticising, just a simple hmm) about the cockpit. And you've blown it up into this. You should calm down and stop getting hugely offended at the smallest criticisms. Also, update your bio. You are not the only person to make smooth shapes with scripts.
@Dallow137 it shouldn't... you may have an old version? Unless you're on about multi-select, in which case, yes that is a bug that needs to be fixed. Unless I have an old version...
If you're getting this warning, you're upvoting too much. That's what it means. Upvotes are to recognise genuinely good builds. If you take a few minutes to download and actually check out and fly things, then you'd never hit the limit.
@Strikefighter04 a number of seconds, after which it will stop giving thrust. However, the smoke trail and engine effect stays, so it looks like it's still giving thrust (but it's not).
@Nzlcafa haha, no, if you read the description, you can see I did not make this piece of art. It is a very famous piece of art by Leonardo da Vinci, painted in the early 16th century. I made a program that turned that existing artwork into a series of blocks inside SimplePlanes.
so... to stop people remotely controlling aircraft you're gonna add a backdoor to allow other people to remotely control aircraft and hope they don't find it?
@DarthAbhinav so, my point was completely valid but you're not gonna do anything about it except criticise my attitude, which I do not want to argue about. See ya Regardd
@DarthAbhinav you just don't seem to understand that if someone is waiting for a build from a specific person, or is a "regular customer", they'll follow that person so they don't need to go tagging everyone who they think might be interested. You do it a lot because it makes people feel obliged to upvote. This is rather unfair on people who don't have the time to post 20 comments tagging people. It's why we have the follow button. Jeez.
@DarthAbhinav I've complained to you several times before about tagging random people who don't care. As it happens, I follow @valaszki , so I was able to see it anyway, as with probably everyone else you tagged.
@BogdanX it seems to be hard-coded, but it doesn't seem to happen when I use the brake key on my joystick. I guess it could be circumvented but it would easily break if the game is updated.
@EternalDarkness I use a real joystick, and the difference is significant. I can cope though, and I like the pitch authority. You always seem to make it out of a dive when it looks very marginal.
@sexylips35 uh
@Oski should be updated now
@Oski yes, I could do that
@ForeverPie what are you setting it to?
also, type it yourself. May be counter-intuitive but when copy-pasting, you can accidentally copy newlines and other invisible characters.
@ForeverPie it should change the max/min lock range. try setting the
maxRange
on an inferno to 1 or something (it's meters), and try and fire it. It shouldn't work.@Minecraftpoweer re-open overload and I think you'll find it's not there any more.
@Minecraftpoweer no, there isn't.
@2416creeper yes, go there and click on the big link. There is a big table with all of the options in them along with descriptions.
@BogdanX this is the results of my experiment
@BogdanX actually, ignore that, it seems to lose all of its weight at once, at about 10% fuel...
@BogdanX I just tested and I can't see any change in weight.
@BogdanX well, I could check the code, or actually I'll just set up an experiment ingame
@BogdanX yeah, the name was never discussed in too much detail
@Tully2001 what?
@2416creeper There is now
@RedstoneAeroAviation all the internal speed/velocity units are in meters per second.
You know what's sad? People complaining on the forums that people won't upvote their stuff
@Gravity nope
goose dies

@vincentwwwwww @JohnnyBoythePilot if you have the latest version of overload, it should be in the Part section.
@Dallow137 it shouldn't... you may have an old version? Unless you're on about multi-select, in which case, yes that is a bug that needs to be fixed. Unless I have an old version...
@RailfanEthan @Creeperslayerz right now, about 246 planes were uploaded in the last 24h. I expect it will be more on weekends though..
@Knight697 like I said, upvotes are to recognise good builds, not just to hand out if somebody wins a challenge.
@KeemstarPlanes use FineTuner for that. Press scale, then disable "only selected parts" and put in your scale. That will scale the whole plane.
If you're getting this warning, you're upvoting too much. That's what it means. Upvotes are to recognise genuinely good builds. If you take a few minutes to download and actually check out and fly things, then you'd never hit the limit.
Your own bullets will go through you.
Other plane's bullets also may go through you, but might do some damage on the way
@Fjorge ha........ ha?
@Strikefighter04 a number of seconds, after which it will stop giving thrust. However, the smoke trail and engine effect stays, so it looks like it's still giving thrust (but it's not).
try disabling collisions on the guns, it will look like it is synced.
@BestBot probably not, because it was made for 1.7? Why haven't you got 1.7?
@Nzlcafa haha, no, if you read the description, you can see I did not make this piece of art. It is a very famous piece of art by Leonardo da Vinci, painted in the early 16th century. I made a program that turned that existing artwork into a series of blocks inside SimplePlanes.

I can't actually see from the photo but is it banked inwards? Because if it's not then that's probably a problem.
@Pilotmario yes, that is unity's standard distance unit. Speed is m/s and time is seconds. weight idk cause SP does some scaling wizardry.
@DarthAbhinav so, my point was completely valid but you're not gonna do anything about it except criticise my attitude, which I do not want to argue about. See ya
Regardd
@BogdanX yeah. That bit is hardcoded. :(
@DarthAbhinav you just don't seem to understand that if someone is waiting for a build from a specific person, or is a "regular customer", they'll follow that person so they don't need to go tagging everyone who they think might be interested. Nice plane though @valaszki !
@BogdanX it seems to be hard-coded, but it doesn't seem to happen when I use the brake key on my joystick. I guess it could be circumvented but it would easily break if the game is updated.
honestly, kids these days, always playing games never seeing the sun.
@EternalDarkness I use a real joystick, and the difference is significant. I can cope though, and I like the pitch authority. You always seem to make it out of a dive when it looks very marginal.
like a cow. More specifically, the lack of lateral damping annoys me.
Looks quite nice but I find the handling, especially on roll to be particularly bovine.
Do you mean ".. take away points"?
@DJ123 yes it should work.
@ThatAircraftCompany yes, set the input on the InputController to
LandingGear
.
