@Treadmill103 The thing is, since young I grew up watching documentaries on historical designs, and when I grew up, I spend more time on wikipedia pages on real-life cars, planes, boats, trains, etc. than I probably should have. So yeah, it's almost as if I have an internal block against making anything weird because I'm too familiar with how real-world ones would function and look like.

Well, I guess you need to stay drunk then.....the trick with me is, I imagine crazy designs then try to convince myself not to build them; if I can’t convince myself, then I build them! About 60% of builds I start never get finished though... @ThomasRoderick

@Treadmill103 Nah, once I get sober again I would cringe over whatever the **** I've just written for the better half of the next decade. Hell, the only reason why I came up with that sentence is that your builds are just... poetic... Like, some form of abstract art that cannot be better described any other way... Hell, a novel requires world building, and by whatever deities we're gonna find out there I SUCK at that. Nor can I ever come up with builds like these to trigger the poetic bursts.
