hello guys doctor nowhere is here and we got a cool plane from nwa discountinued aircraft anyways heres some history about ti:
FX-99 Superfox — short wiki/history
Overview — The FX-99 Superfox is a carrier-capable, swept-wing multirole bomber developed and produced for the Kingdom of Foxes. Built as a naval adaptation of the retired A-3A airframe, the Superfox converts the original attacker into a fast, low-level strike platform optimized for anti-surface ambushes and maritime interdiction. It entered service with the Snow Region Naval Air Wing in the early 2030s.
Development
• After the A-3A was retired from front-line service, Kingdom of Foxes engineers selected that airframe as the quickest, lowest-risk path to a new naval strike platform.
• Modifications focused on structural strengthening for carrier operations, redesigned wing sweep mechanics for better high-speed dash performance, and a redesigned fuselage to accept a reinforced bomb bay and maritime sensors.
• A snow-camouflage scheme and winterized systems were fitted to suit operations out of the Snow Region bases.
Design highlights
• Swept variable-geometry inspired outer wing sections and strengthened landing gear for arrested carrier recoveries.
• Heavy under-fuselage bomb bay and conformal hardpoints able to carry two armor-piercing guided bombs (designed for anti-ship/harbor strikes).
• Advanced maritime strike avionics suite (ship-search radar, datalink and precision guidance interfaces).
• Emphasis on burst speed and survivability: short high-G dashes, limited electronic countermeasures, and a reduced RCS profile compared with the A-3A.
Operational use
• Employed primarily for stand-off ambushes against enemy surface ships and littoral targets—launching during low-visibility windows and using pop-up/fast-insertion strike profiles.
• The FX-99’s doctrine stresses short, high-speed attack runs from sea bases, rapid weapon delivery, and egress before heavy air defenses can localize the strike.
• Because of cost and complexity, production remained limited; the Superfox flies in small, specialized squadrons.
Variants & upgrades
• FX-99A — baseline naval strike version with two AP guided bombs and winterized avionics.
• FX-99B — upgraded avionics and conformal fuel tanks for extended range; limited production.
• Ongoing proposals include an electronic-warfare pod variant and a supersonic dash package (experimental).
Operators
• Kingdom of Foxes — Snow Region Naval Air Wing (primary / sole operator in-universe).
