DexCorp/Lykins K-1 Vectra SLAF
In March 2018, the aviation industry DexCorp (owned by the user RMark1) shared a design with the SimpleLandian Air Ministry of a confidential stealth fighter. When DexCorp went inactive unexpectedly, the project was given to Lykins Aviation Inc to complete. With stunning results, the "Vectra" was put on factory lines at the beginning of December 2018, ready for the new year.
Having many features, the Vectra is carrier capable, and carries 2 AIM-120 AMRAAMs and 2 AIM-9 Sidewinders missiles loaded in an internal missile bay. Also included is thrust vectoring, with the ability to toggle it on and off.
Known from the start, the plane would be very difficult to handle and fly. So the Air Ministry recruited the help of users randomusername and jamesPLANESii for help with stability. WIth randomusername unable to fix the issue, jamesPLANESii successfully helped with stabilizing the jet. We are indebted to you both.
The Vectra is now in frontline service in Korea, Afghanistan, and at home.
