Bell 206 Jet Ranger HCS-24 [EV challenge entry]

39.3k randomusername  6 days ago

Reuploaded due to paint. The Bell 206 Jet Ranger is a civilian helicopter for personal transport and where ever there is an airport, chances are that there's a Bell 206 Jet Ranger there too. However, this model is faster and has a higher climb rate. Please note: the gear absorbs the most shock on physics low
This is also for the electric vehicle challenge hosted by TheMitsuboshiBoi.

Controls:

  • VTOL for engines.
  • UP for MAX lift
  • DOWN for MIN lift (Best for hovering)
  • Activate8 for manuvers. (Automatically on)
  • Standard Pitch, yaw, and roll.
  • Set VTOL half up if "stalling" and then adjust lift to your liking.

    Stats:

  • Max climb 32 miles per hour

  • Max speed 235 miles per hour
  • Low but stable roll rate for easier landings.
  • Higher pitch rate to do Pugachevs Cobra.
  • Good yaw speed.

It happens when you are uploading, it doesn't happen on SimplePlanes.com.

This suspension is AMAZING! I went above Wright to 1388 feet, and did a approx 1000ft drop. I just cut the engine. Hit the ground at 70 mph, ON THE HILL THINGS!(surrounds the little taxi/storage area things)((not the hangar)) and no part blew up! Just a tad bit of impact damage on the left gear and some of the body. This was on high physics.

@randomusername yes u always setting gyroscopes exemplary. I like your style, and thinking how a rotor blade angle can produce lift is more suitable than just putting ready engines on it. That's why I'm saying ... 😊

The gyros don't limit the maneuverability, you can do barrel rolls and loops if you have the altitude, @Viper3000ad. And thanks for the compliment.

Thanks for the compliment, @Diloph. :) To answer your question; an electric helicopter uses spinning wings to produce lift. For the manuvers, I use yaw power from the gyroscopes to give me pitch, roll, and yaw without limiting the maneuverability. For the design, I just followed the blueprint.

In my opinion it could fly without the gyros, though it looks beautiful . I will download it after vacations, keep up the good work

I am not a developer of the website, @TheMitsuboshiBoi.
The best I can do is upload an unlisted version as the successor.
But you clearly said I didn't have to make it a successor.
