You know, the usual. Just an electric seaplane that can do landings and takeoffs from the water. This is a 15 seat aircraft designed to be economically friendly. And I meant seaplane, not amphibious aircraft, sorry.

Controls:

  • Activate8+Throttle for the engines.
  • Deactivate8+Throttle for reverse thrust.
  • Standard aircraft controls.

    Stats:

  • Stalls more realistically unless you pitch to 90 degrees and do a cobra landing.

    • 66 miles per landing speed.
  • 350~378 mph top speed.
  • Takeoff speed of 76~95 mph.
  • Must use yaw when rolling because it will stall and you may end up being a helicopter. (Android physics low, lol)

    User note:

  • Android users and iOS users must use at least physics medium, PCs/Macs are fine on low physics.

    An electric engine is a mechanical engine and uses gismos that will use the surrounding air to propel itself forward, @FranzPeterSiegfried. If you can find a way to push back the air as real engines do, you can get thrust. Electric props are easy to understand and won't blow up but I prefer you use the electric jet. It's not literally a jet, it's just a very direct and part efficient mechanical engine. Airbrakes only work in one direction so you can use that to always push back the air via a piston.     There is Trim on this plane, @Mmdben. I made it ultra fine-tuned to do very small adjustments. It's strong enough at low speed though if you find that the pitch is too effective.

    1) Grab a hinge rotator, set the input to Activate8, set the min and max at 1.
    2) Set the input angle to 180 degrees, attach to the back of the fuselage body of your choice.
    3) Set disableAircraftCollisions to true, set CalulateDrag to false.
    4) Attach a piston to the back of the hinge rotator.
    5) Set disableAircraftCollisions to true, set CalulateDrag to false.
    6) Set preventBreaking to true, cycle to true, speed to one, and the range of your choice.
    7) Set the input to whatever you want, like throttle, set the max input to 4.5.
    8) Attach an airbrake to the back of the piston, set the rotation to 0 degrees with the fine tuner.
    9) Set disableAircraftColisions to true, CalulateDrag to false, massScale to 0, and dragScale to 0.
    10) Set the input to an input of your choice, like throttle, and set the max input to whatever you want.
    11) Use XML to change the rotation of the piston from 90 to 270 or Vise Versa. Stability vs instability.

    Range, what does it do? Range is the potential speed your craft will go to, a very high range means your craft can go fast.
    Does the placement matter? Oh yeah, if you don't care where you place these, you are going to have a really hard time getting useful thrust without something going wrong. I usually place them in the nose and get them to extend to the tail end of the plane while intersecting the CoM so it's stable.
    Airbrake max input, what does it do? The input is your acceleration, a higher value means it takes less time to reach its top speed. However, the engine must be structurally secure; a very high value will cause the engine to provide very little power, @Parshainaerospace.

    A cycling piston creates a change in velocity and that change in velocity can power the craft when the airbrake pushes back the air, @Parshainaerospace. Hinge rotator, then piston, then airbrake.
