In the future it will be well-documented that tanks no longer serve a practical purpose in warfare, but all nations not yet blasted into poverty and submission will decree behind closed doors that tanks are super awesome and establish an agreement to totally keep sinking fat stacks of cash into making and using them.

SWOLL (Not an acronym, just all capital letters) is a nation founded by a rogue cult of genetically enhanced super soldiers in what was once Alaska. The men of Alaska put up a brave fight, though most the women didn't seem to mind much.

The leader of the cult, Supreme Alpha Abdominus Pecs of the Rad Warring Nation of SWOLL (his official name and title), founded his nation in Alaska for its rugged natural beauty, the way its environment can test even the hardiest super soldier, and its proximity to the USA, Russia, Unified Korea, and China in order to give their militaries an unending stream of taunting harassment. He regularly invites Canada over to party and thinks they're pretty cool dudes.

Abdominus Pecs leads his nation under the flag of Odin, the National Anthem is the guitar solo from "Sweet Child of Mine" by G'nR, and he espouses a philosophy of eternal warfare, working out, feasting and partying. All are welcome in SWOLL as long as they're willing to put their lives on the line upon arrival in a 30-man Pay-Per-View Battle Royale. Killing is allowed in this fight, but frowned upon and will result in isolation and ostracization if it is deemed not necessary ("We don't wage war upon our own" is one of his many mottos). Weakness is allowed, but cowardice will result in similar disrespect ("I would rather die amongst ten brave weaklings fighting to the end than live with 1000 strong men fleeing to fight another day!" he is often heard shouting to nobody in particular)

This tank sports state-of-the-art heavy armor to take that incoming fire, space age fuel cell, a killer paint job and racing-stripe since advanced optics have made conventional camouflage obsolete, a remote targeting drone, advanced Quik-Lok© long-range smart missiles in retractable bay, rapid-fire heavy cannon with advanced explosives, laser blaster for close-range crowd clearing and iTunes compatibility with Bluetooth and Surround Sound. The drone is controlled through a retractable tether since computers went off and did their own thing upon gaining sentience, setting signal encryption technologies back decades.

Hover technology? And ruin how awesome it looks to see 20 tons of metal death crash over a mound of dirt and debris at high speed and send flying detritus in every direction? Abdominus Pecs wouldn't deprive you the pleasure before vaporizing your body into a cloud of red mist! Lasers? Those are fine for secondary or space weapons, but would the Mighty and Wise Abdominus Pecs approve of eliminating the supreme satisfaction one feels from the recoil of a solid fire-propelled projectile given the choice? I think not! Would he deny his enemy the privilege and right of feeling that split-second of gut-wrenching dread they're sure to experience when a slug as large as their torso hurtles much too quickly toward them, signaling their inevitable obliteration? Never! Abdominus Pecs is a man of honor above all else!

Controls and AGs:

LandingGear: Jackstand bracers to keep your tank in one place.
1: Main Tank Engines (VTOL/Roll)
2: Winch and drone engines - Control winch with Trim. Once you've let some length out, Throttle controls your thrust. Left/right movement is possible with Roll and forward/back with VTOL, but its touchy (definitely not impossible) to control. Still, most of your movements, including to dodge missiles should be up and down with your engines and winch. You should pull the drone in with the winch most of the way first with engines firing, then the rest of the way as slowly as possible.
The drone houses your cockpit, so you can put your tank behind partial cover, get a bird's eye view with the small and darty target, and either launch your missiles or arc your cannon shot (some cannon customization may be necessary depending on your needs).
