Short story
:
The Year is 1972 the First CVR-Helion War CVRs First tank ace was just starting out as a fresh Tank commander straight form the academy he hadn't had a tank to command so he used his own money to get the best he could get and he fell in love with the 56E1-A3 hull but it was a cancelled but he ordered a hull and made a turret for it that was armed to the teeth.

The year is now 1974 the once inexperienced tank commander was now in his 14th engagement and and he was getting use to getting shot at but he wasn't in his own custom tank since his tank was being maintenanced so he was in a 56E1-A1 and doing well against Helion forces when a shell hits his tank killing his Driver and injuring his gunner so he told his gunner to get out and drive since all his gunner had was a broken leg so he climbs into the turret and starts firing while his Wounded Gunner was driving then another 3 shells hit his tank and they tear through his tank killing his gunner and injuring him to the point were he black outs and his tank his disabled.

The year is now 1978 the now Experienced tank commander was on his 23rd engagement and it would be his last with the same crew he started with in his own tank as he and his Company he commanded got into position with him Commanding them form his tank on the battlefield with his men when there position was engaged by a large number of Helion forces and when he noticed he ordered all tanks to open fire on the advancing enemy to were a 8 hour shoot out took place and with his numbers dwindling he ordered his remaining men to retreat to which his men answered simply no and to which he and his last two tanks under his command continue firing to which all 3 are killed

So short story aside here's the history of the tank and its commander it was Commanded by CVRs first tank ace Boris McRae to which he commanded this tank for his 6 year career to which he special made this tank to make sure he could command but it also made his men respect him and he didn't respect his men back he instead treated them as family as he normally would put his men before himself but sadly for him and his mens lives were cut short in 1978 when him and his company were wiped out during a ambush to which all 13 of the tanks under his command were destroyed to which he shortly followed.

When the Recovery team went to see if any one was still alive and to see of any tanks survived to which the search revealed no one had and no tanks had and then they found Boris's tank to which they said had been hit 41 times before it went down and when they found it it had the guns still smoking and still hot and only 3 shots left for the 25mm and no shots left for the 90mm and only 471 rounds left for the mounted Machine gun and barely any left for the coxail

The 56E1-A3 was meant to replace the 56E1-A2 but the A3 never left paper instead the 56E2 came out on its hull that was far better since the A3 was stop gonna use the old and out dated E1 turret the tank that Rank Ace Boris McRae used was the only A3 to enter service and see light sadly it was a short lived tank but the tank is still in a bone yard in the same state it was found in on the battlefield in 1978
