Sorry guys I won't be as active from this :( I woke up this morning to my cat awake next to me still breathing but no movement. I started to get scared for him so I took him to the vet and he was hardly breathing and he would not react to anything so I only had one choice to put him down out of his misery :( I'm broken right now. im breaking down really bad so bye for a while :(

You should at least wait a while first. When I lost my FIRST dog, I was so sad, he was older than me! I was 10 and he was 12, we waited 3 years then we got 2 more. @BogdanX

@BACconcordepilot His “certainty” might be because sometimes people decide a date to euthanize their pets, that way they can spend as much time as possible with them and don’t have to worry about something bad happening at a random time. Our family did it because my parents were afraid of our dog passing away and my brothers and sisters (they were younger at the time) finding him, which happened to our neighbors family. We only did it because he could barely even walk and couldn’t really open his eyes anymore. He had at the very best maybe a month or two left.

Well, we live in Indiana and he lives in Arizona. And we only go out there in the winter after Christmas, so I will probably never see him again. @BACconcordepilot

@koryg we just put him to sleep it was the best choice.

Not trying to be rude at all, but does "put him down out of his misery" mean you euthanized him?

My uncle's dog Sammy is going to pass away before Christmas. He is as old as me (13 in human years. I remember going to his house in Illinois and hearing his bark and see him run down the hall, super happy to see us. It will be sad. :(
I'm sorry for your loss. Just remember that he is in a better place.
