The Hydra class frigate is a multipurpose frigate capable of many configurations. The base configuration is relatively powerful against most surface and air targets, rivaling the power of even destroyers in some cases. It’s relatively reduced cross section only make it deadlier, it being able to strike first with its weaponry, before disappearing out of view.
