[About Curtiss P-40 E Warhawk]

Wikipedia
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk is a fighter aircraft developed in the United States in the late 1930s. It was used extensively by the United States and other Allied forces in World War II.
Adopted in 1936, the P-36 was the first modern aircraft in the U.S. Army Air Corps, but just prior to World War II, it was becoming obsolete in terms of performance. In 1938, the XP-40, a prototype improvement of the P-36 with liquid-cooled engines, was built. The XP-40 was designed to increase speed by replacing the P-36 with a powerful and compact liquid-cooled engine and reducing aerodynamic drag. After several improvements, the XP-40 reached a speed of 550 km/h, 50 km/h faster than the prototype P-36. The U.S. Army Air Corps at the time saw this and adopted the P-40 as its official model.
The P-40 was basically a P-36 with liquid-cooled engines instead of air-cooled engines. The distinctive feature of the P-40 is the large, jaw-like radiator protruding from the underside of the nose.
Although improved from the P-36, the P-40's performance was mediocre, not outstanding. However, because it was an improved version of the P-36, production could be increased quickly, and its relatively simple structure made maintenance easy, so production was increased. Especially in the early stages of World War II, the P-36 was widely deployed by the Allied Forces, including the British. They fought against high-performance fighters such as the German Bf-109 and the Japanese Zero fighter, supporting the Allied forces in the early stages of World War II.
With the introduction of the P-47 and P-51, the P-40 was removed from the front lines, but it was still used for ground attack missions. Many modified versions and derivatives of the P-40 were made, even if only those that were adopted.
Among them, the E-type was the first mass-production type with a new engine and reinforced armament. Including prototypes, a total of 13,738 aircraft were produced up to and including the R type.

[About the work]
It is one of my favorite airplanes.
I built a P-40 when I first started SP and again about a year later. Here it is.
SP Beginner…

After a year…

…and now.

The cockpit is roughly reproduced.
I have used PlanariaLab's "SP Label Converter" to create a Roundel. Thank you very much.
Note: "Physic" in the game settings must be set to "medium" or higher.
I have not verified this because I do not have Simple Planes VR. Sorry.

The build is very good, but the flight model isn’t s outstanding! Realistic performance, but easy enough to fly, much like the real thing.

Very well made! but about the part of mobile friendly depends on device power that can handle the performance cost of 1900

But overall it is a very well made craft
    Great Build👍

    My go-to fighter.
Durability, speed, firepower. She's not the most agile nor is she the best, but she gets the job done solid.

I miss flying my P-40N in War Wings. Too bad the game shut down.

If you think it should be VR verified, add VR tag. Then it's curator's job to verify it.
