Q1; Def. 1, it's much easier that way
Q2: C, VTOL and Trim feels weird and Throttle is easier to use

You can also simply turn off main rotor torque, that will solve the issue of the heli sliding left and right while static

Just makes the most sense to me, as this is what I always do.
I love helicopters that are easy to fly. Try making the Airwolf or one airbus helicopter. Ive made plenty in the past and am currently developing another. Justa ask me if there is anything else.

Answer a) and a) for me.
All my helicopters lift with VTOL, and, it is obvious why VTOL stands for Vertical Take Off and Landing. Other controls simply confused me
B, D - throttle for engine VTOL for Collective
@jamesPLANESii I also thought the tail rotor did this, But is there a solution for this?
